In infrared photography, the film or image sensor used is sensitive to infrared light. The part of the spectrum used is referred to as near-infrared to distinguish it from far-infrared, which is the domain of thermal imaging. Wavelengths used for photography range from about 700 nm to about 900 nm. 赤外線写真は、近赤外線を撮影した写真である。サーモグラフィーが遠赤外線を撮影するのに対し、赤外線写真は近赤外線と若干の可視光線を撮影する。言い換えれば、赤外線写真で撮影される光の波長は約700nmから900nmである。 From wikipedia
